Privacy

Last Updated: December 06, 2025

We collect almost nothing. That’s the entire point.

1. Data We Do NOT Collect for Confessions

  • No email address required
  • No phone number
  • No username or account
  • No real names
  • No IP address is stored for regular confessions (only temporarily logged for spam/abuse detection and deleted immediately after processing)

You are completely anonymous when posting a confession. We literally cannot identify you even if we wanted to.

2. Data We Collect

  • IP address (only for rate-limiting, spam prevention, and banning rule-breakers – stored maximum 30 days, then permanently deleted)
  • Browser/User-Agent string (for basic analytics – no personal tracking)
  • Cookies: Only technical cookies for basic functionality (no advertising or tracking cookies from third parties like Google/Facebook)

We do use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking. No data is sold, shared, or monetized.

3. Server Logs

Standard server logs (IP, timestamp, requested URL) are kept for 30 days maximum for security and abuse prevention only, then automatically deleted. Logs are never shared except under valid court order.

4. Data When You Contact Us (Report/Grievance)

If you email us, your email address and message are stored only as long as needed to resolve the issue. We do not add you to any mailing list.

5. Compliance with Indian Law

We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and IT Rules 2021. Since we collect minimal personal data and do not process it for profiling or commercial purposes, we are exempt from most obligations. You have the right to request deletion of any data we hold (just email [email protected]).

6. Children's Privacy

The site is strictly 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Any minor accessing the site violates our Terms.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS, server hardening). However, no system is 100% secure. Use at your own risk.

8. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this policy. Continued use means acceptance.
